Trail Pace & Riding Level
Each departure in the calendar has a predefined riding level, indicated by asterisks next to the trail name.
This level defines the expected pace of the ride and the recommended rider profile.

Level 2 ( ** ) – Moderate Pace
Rides including walk, trot and some short canters. Suitable for riders who are comfortable at walk and rising trot and can canter short distances.

Level 3 ( *** ) – Active Pace
Rides including long trots and canters of up to 10 minutes, but no gallops. Suitable for riders with a good level of fitness who are confident at all three gaits (walk, rising trot and canter in suspension) over varied terrain and have good balance.

Level 4 ( **** ) – Sporty Pace
Rides including long trots and canters of up to 20 minutes, with some gallops. Suitable for fit riders who are confident at all three gaits on all types of horses, including more spirited ones, are able to ride long distances and use their aids independently.

Changes to the Riding Level on Request
For departures with no confirmed bookings or riders awaiting confirmation, the riding level may be adapted on request to suit the needs of a group.
